I am looking for a program that will process a number of images to the same specification.

I need to resize/resample a lot of images to a common format.

Google's Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/) has batch edit.

EDIT: Has batch edit AND batch export, which is useful for batch resizing and watermarking.

I would like to recommend actions and batch process from Photoshop. You get more control than other tools. :)

Thanks to you all. It seems that I am spoilt for choice. I will have to look to 'Fireworks CSS4' also to see if that will help.

I have just bought it but have not had the time to read it up.

Yes Frank, it's easy to do with Fireworks as well.

I forgot about the on screen help. I bought the book, but I have difficulty with my sight so I tend not to read it. Daft really. I like the computer as I can increase print size to help.
