editing xml file with php

Hi guys,

i don't have much experience with xml files.
I have one xml file and i want tomake small page so that when in load that pages i have a small form which gets populated from the xml file and any chnages can be saved.


Is there any script available where i can change the name of file and then it saves it

or i have to define hard code the xml tags.

I have no experince with xml so don't know much about it
