XML and Flash Menu problem

Hi everyone,
Ive been creating a flash website which includes a xml automatic gallery in the middle of the scene, and i want to add a flash dropdown menu above the xml gallery, but the problem is that when the menu drops down, it goes behind the gallery, not in front. How can I make the complete drop down menu to be visible in front of the xml gallery?

Is the website entirely in flash? If you flash menu and gallery are contained in an HTML then when publishing your gallery go to publish settings->HTML-> and theres an option in there for transparent windowless or something like that which allows things to appear over the flash content.
