Adding a pattern to a logo

First off, I am an amateur web designer. Second, I don't have any fancy software. I use PhotoFiltre and a couple other free online programs. Here is the link to the site I am working on: www.deniseantalisdds.com

I would like to make the Ohio Smiles have the same gradient pattern as the rest of the text in the header. How can I go about this? Thanks!

Download the free graphics program GIMP and learn to use it. It has a pretty awesome gradient tool.
