View Full Version : Why flash menu do not overlaps the flash banner?

Hi Experts,

I have 2 flash files, one for the flash menu with submenu onmouseover & the other one is the flash banner below the menu.

Problem is that flash menu moves the banner flash down, I want it exactly below it. Menu does this because of the height of sub menu. The sub menu should appear OVER the flash banner while it takes its full space ( height ) & this causes the flash banner move down.

HERE IS THE LIVE URL OF THIS PROBLEM (http://active-forex.com/sitepreview/). Please guide me how can I fix this? I have tried WMODE Transparent & Opaque for the flash menu but it didn't help me. Please help...

Try setting position:absolute; to #topMenu
And you'd need to add some code to your object tags to make them transparent, see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14201.html

Position thing didn't produce any result. I also tried the WMODE=transparent & opaque but those didn't work either.

Position thing didn't produce any result. Have you removed that drop down effect? Now, I don't see any gap there.

No, drop down is still there. If you notice, it now appears behind the flash banner. My flash designer did some changes in the menu & its not taking that much height now. But the actual problem is still there, the sub menu should popup above the flash banner.

Than kyou for your response, but this is not the solution. Because on inner pages, there is no flash banner but only the flash menu.
