hi,i made a program for address diary in C sometime back..now i am learning linux and i want to know,is there any way i can convert my c code into linux ? is that possible and how should i proceed..i have to do the same address diary thing in linux..please help ...

Recompile the source code using gcc on your Linux machine. I believe most Linux distros come with it, but if not, go here (http://gcc.gnu.org/).

If your program is a console application, it should be as simple as recompiling as Shane said. If you don't have gcc, if your distro has a package manager, it will probably be in there.

As long as you didn't utilize any Windows API or other various packages such as sockets that differ between Windows and Unix/Linux then you should be fine.
