When I use SyncToy2 to back up my Users folder, there are always five or six files that are not processed because the program cannot read them.
I have checked that they are there and have taken ownership, but ST2 still will not copy them. This is so on both my desktop and laptop.
Any suggestions as to whether there is a better tool than SyncToy.

If the only thing you use ST for is backing up your users folder, then you might aswell Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V?
(No, this is not an attempt at trolling, it's a genuine answer :P)

Thanks. Having just tried it I think that for my purposes you are right.
Surprising how easy it is to miss the obvious.

GoodSync, I use it. Really nice, no complex settings needed. :)

Thanks, I have tried it but it Reports errors from the back-up. It may be because I have 64bit system. SynchToy is the same.
Copy and Paste still works better for me.
