Will flex3 applications work as same in flex 4?

Would the appilcations created in flex3 work as same in flex4 without errors or any problems?This is to ensure about the version compatibilty.

Flex 4 is not fully backward compatible; however, you should be able to get your apps to compile fairly easily because Adobe is keeping the standard namespaces available.
