Hello!
My current earphones on my MP3 player (Trekstor Vibez 12 GB) are dead (wire broken). I need a replacement.
At the end of my instruction manual I've found the following generic note :
This MP3/movie player is optimized for the provided earphones (32 Ohm impedance). Using other earphones/headphones with a lower impedance can damage the MP3/movie player or earphone/headphone, especially MP3/movie players with two earphone jacks.
My device is a MP3 player only (can't play movies) and only have one earphone jack.
Now with my question: does a 16 Ohm impedence earphones replacement will damage my device? The replacement earphones I've found (Sony) are similar (aspect & size) than my old ones (Sennheiser) but are 16 Ohm instead of 32.
Thanks!
