I have been trying for some time now, to get Filezilla to open the remote directory, htdocs.

I have set up the local directory as C:\MySite and the remote directory as htdocs. Each time I use it it finds the local site OK. But only goes to the remote site with htdocs unopened.

Now I know that I can open it myself, but it worries me for some reason or another. I do like things to work properly. Any help, technical or psychiatric :confused:will be welcomed with open arms.:D

Firstly, do I need the Client or the Server.

I am at present working with the Client. (Steady there FPT.)

You want the client. Actually reading the documentation on your own can go a long way. Its there for a reason.

Good luck.

Thanks Aero.

I had read that several times and not found where I was wrong. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, I saw my error on the panel illustration.

I had used C:\MySite for the local site and \htdocs for the remote when it should be /htdocs. I have been looking for this solution on and off for several months and never noticed that before.

Thanks for staying with me. It is because you have always used it without a problem, that kept me at it.

EDIT: I have just discovered that I cannot see the HTML files. All the others are visible but not the HTML.
Any Ideas anybody.
