Xml +swf

I have created a button, more like a play button in flash 8, which when clicked upon plays an mp3 file. However, I had to import the mp3 file to the library to be able to play it, while I want the player to dynamically read an XML file, and from there play the Mp3 specified.
Anyone can help on linkning the swf to the xml file?
