I've been working on a business website for my Web development company and am looking for feedback on anything you'd like to provide me with. My main focus for the site are small businesses, people who aren't too familiar with building websites but know they need one if they want to better promote their company.
I've thought of centering the layout instead of having it left aligned. Also, I realize I need to work on the contact form. What's currently there is pretty much a stop gap.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I think the cream colored content box should be the full width of the header, not smaller. The slideshow changes border halfway along. I think the sanserif typeface in the header should be serif to match the rest of the site.

The reason why the main content doesn't match the header is that the header is 100% of the browser window, no matter the size. I don't want my content area growing and shrinking for layout purposes.
Regarding the slideshow, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Can you let me know what browser you're seeing this in?
I see your point about the header font, I may change this.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Then the main content area should be centered (I didn't catch that because my browser happened to be the exact width you had in mind.) It looks very odd if I extend my browser window.
I was viewing it in mobile Safari, where the artifact is very obvious. I can't see it on here (Ffx 3.5), but the color of the border where the animal is is very slightly off.

Thanks for the follow-up. I agree with you about the centered content issue. I originally intended for the site to be different than all the other centered content sites, but after seeing it for a while, i really wish i would have just been the same as them. I'll probably change the design to be centered sometimes in the next few weeks (need to re-cut graphics for that).
