Every time you get a Windows update, does it add extra space in your hard drive. Will your HD eventually fill up with all these?

Windows update is designed to download and install important (or reccomended) updates to your machine. most of which are security updates designed to plug security gaps in software.

Most of them are pretty small but they will each use some space.

Unless youve got less than 1gb of space free then i woulnt worry too much

Not as much space as you'd think as a lot of updates replace old components too, but overall yes a little more space will typically be used depending on the updates

Every time Window's updates itself, it also creates a recovery point which takes up quite a considerable amount on your hard drive (several gbs), however, the combined space for all the recovery points is fixed and Windows deletes old recovery points to make space for new ones.

You can turn those off if want to though but I wouldn't advise it, though half the time those restore points don't work anyhow

Instead of regular updates, I think it is better to schedule that feature. Something like weekly once or so.
