Morgoth 04-01-2003, 02:35 AM I don't know of any forum that is client side, so you might require ASP, PHP, or Perl (cgi) support... I wonder, do you think anyone has made a forum with javascript? mouse 04-01-2003, 02:49 AM Originally posted by Morgoth I don't know of any forum that is client side, so you might require ASP, PHP, or Perl (cgi) support... There used to be a project to build a forum with an entirely Flash front end, a good way of reducing bandwidth and server load would be making a client that hold the user interface, graphics and does alot of the processing on the client side. oracleguy 04-01-2003, 02:53 AM If you don't have database capabilites, your best bet would be to use one of those off-server forum hosting sites. Usually their free ones just have banners on them at the top and bottom. And you can pay to have them removed. |
