My friend has her domain and everything inside it set up to redirect to another domain. However, she set up a subdomain for WordPress that does not redirect to the second domain, and it works fine. What I am trying to do is set up one more folder that does not redirect, and I can't seem to get it to work.

Here's how it's working now:
domain1.com >> domain2.com
domain1.com/anything >>domain2.com
domain1.com/myfolder >> domain2.com
wp.domain1.com >> wp.domain1.com

I set up a subdomain for myfolder that is associated with /myfolder, but it is still redirecting to domain2.com

Is there a way around her general redirect such as how the wp subdomain works? (wp.domain1.com is set up to associate with the root)

Nevermind, figured it out. The subdomain was working, but we had used an auto installer to install a program into the subfolder, which is why it kept redirecting. Updated the programs settings and subdomain works fine now.
