hello. Does anyone know or have a good idea of the recommended requirments for red hat 8 (i want to install 9, but i guess if i couldn't find them for 8, it'd be even more difficult to find them for 9).

I have a 433mhz laptop with 96mb of ram, and wanted to find out if it's above the recomended system.. I'm running win 98se on it, and wanted to find out if red hat 9 would run slower or faster than this cause if it's faster then i'm definately changing (i like bluecurve;)).
so i searched their site and couldn't find any. I know linux was supposed to be fast on slow computers, but i don't know if that still applies with the new pretty stuff they've added (like bluecurve - don't tell anyone but that's the main reason i'm changing;) i guess i just like pretty stuff;)

thanks!

I'm not a Linux user but I suspect 433mhz and 96mb ram would be fine for most installations.

found it

it'll seem really stupid, but it was really visible on their site, under 'technical details' (tho i thought that'd be stuff like, component version numbers, stuff like that...)...

(details for version 8 are also availiable through google's cache, prolly just for a few hours now)
