Hi guys:
In case anyone gets confused at first, our beloved moderator jeremywilken has decided to change his username to gnomeontherun. Still the same person, just on the run now!

I love that name. So tempted to change mine...sorry, anyway.

Jeremy's personal website is run under the same name. It's a pretty cool design, and contains some interesting musings. It's a good resource if you're into Joomla.

I changed because I have developed my online persona after creating my account here, and its time that I updated it, thanks to WA.

I'll lobby for a gnome hat icon, since you can't use your "sideways S" logo any more. :D

So Jeremy gets to change his name AND have a sig that is over the cap on lines? Must be nice! :p

Hi gnomeontherun,
Welcome to CF!

PS: Just wondering about the future of blocks of texts in the forum like

[...] ;)

My icon was actually the infinity symbol with grunge, and I have a gnome hat icon for my branding. I'll add it now :)

I fixed my sig, it did get a bit bloated.

:o I was only joking about that...

Hey, Jeremy, could you get rid of the white background? It'd look so much cooler without.

Guess I'll have to make him a new image for NTC IV (whenever that happens). Cyan, don't be in Belgium this time, k?

:D

I have no intention of going there again. I've only just managed to get that smell out of my clothes...

Also, your avatar made me laugh way too much. I feel left out.

No. I want a background. Stop everyone telling me what to do!

I didn't even notice the white...it was supposed to be a transparent png...hmm.

Cheers; figured it was time to switch it up. I contemplated doing the commie thing but it definitely suits you, our resident anarchist/cynic/whatever, better.

Shouldn't you be "The Grammar Soviet" now or something? Kind of a conflict of ideologies between your icon and subtitle. :)

I knew someone would get it! I knew it! =P

I eat anarchists for breakfast, don't be silly, boy. I think Spookster should get a picture of the metaphorical banhammer (http://static.photo.net/attachments/bboard/00R/00Rbhs-92078184.jpg). Perhaps people should stop thinking I'm KT Tunstall now. Hopefully.

Or maybe "Comrade Grammar"? :)

How d'you like it now? (:

Possibly might stick the ironical Nazi. My Red Army jokes are running a little thin right now...

Anyway...

Just a heads up that moderator CyanLight also has requested a name change, and is now Apostropartheid. :)

Hmm now there are two A (capitalized) usernames although mine has an underscore before the A. I win.

Of course, underscores make you superior...*cough*
What's with them, anyway?

Cheers, by the way, George.

When I was younger like Freshman year of college I would some times play yahoo pool online and I would see underscores in the beginning of usernames. These were considered "rare" usernames as yahoo didn't allow them anymore. Thats where I got the idea from. Now though I'm not even going to be an aerospace engineer. I'm going to be a software engineer so maybe I should change my username to _Software_Eng_?

No, no, can't do that, then everyone will call me "softy". Aero has a nice ring to it.

With all of these name changes I did a google search on my username. It had a lot of results from other forums. I looked at my posts and at that time I typed like I was texting someone. Its amazing how much you change as you get older. I also found my old avatar.
