embedding cross platform sound files?

Hello reader...
I've designed a website for someone, and included a .wav file that plays on a graphic mouseover...

Unfortunately, her MAC friends can't enjoy the effect the way her PC friends can.

I've scoured the web now for a full week, and haven't found a solution for this...

I know MAC sound files are .aif... if I could find a comparable .aif sound, somehow play it in my own PC browser to test it, then write some kind of java script to direct the browser to the appropriate sound file, would that work?

For an example of the mouseover click: HERE (www.anitajessestudio.com/class/) (pass mouse over clapboard at that site)

Any body got an answer for this?

Thanks,
Diana

SWF Tools (http://www.quiss.org/swftools/) converts .wav to .swf, so perhaps flash sound-effects would work for "her MAC friends"?

By the way, there's something screwy with that "mouse over clapboard"... it opened my Windows Media Player, seperately, rather than embedding sound in the browser.

Your page didn't load in 45 seconds so I just left. No matter...Doesn't look like you can find your way back here anyway.
