View Full Version : Looking for some help on a basic logo

I'm looking for someone to do a basic logo for me. Just some basic resizing and adding a couple of lines of text.

This is what I would like:

1) I want this image (http://i41.tinypic.com/10ql0rp.jpg) to be resized to 1 and a half inches in width and 3 inches in length.

2) I want the word "LGBTSource" directly to the right of it, in larger text.

3) I want the words "Your source of the LGBT community's services"

4) I want the image to fit into the space on my site (http://lgbtsource.com/sandbox2.html) where it says "Welcome To LGBTSource".

I would to it myself, but the laptop I'm using hates me when it comes to deal with images.

Many thanks for any help,

(Crossposting in "Graphics and Multimedia discussions" in hopes of getting a faster response, as I'm quite desperate.)

I really don't suggest using a logo generator site like is suggested above. They leave a site looking very amateurish and cheesy.

Another thing I'd like to point out is, that Codingforums is not a service. If you would like to pay for someone to design you a logo then I suggest you head over to the Marketplace (http://codingforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=64).

Also see rule 1.2 in the Forum Rules (http://www.codingforums.com/rules.htm).

1.2) Do not crosspost- CodingForums.com is divided into various categories. When initiating a thread, always locate the most appropriate category, and post your question only ONCE, in that category. Do not post the same question in multiple categories.

I used LogoMaker and made a logo there.

The proportion you gave is kinda weird basically its 108px by 216px. If that's the case it will look bad, especially with that image. ;)
