Hi,
Will I notice a marked improvement in performance by setting up IIS as a CGI web server using Fast CGI?
It's currently set as a CGI server.
The reason I ask is that I'm trying to improve php/ajax performace.
Thanks in advance!

as far as I know, fast CGI is for perl scripts only. Will have no affect on a php script.

I have been told in the past it'll make a difference to PHP.
Currently having a read through this (http://phplens.com/phpeverywhere/fastcgi-php)

Well, give it a try then, but I am sure you noted that article is 5 years old. Things have probably changed since the article was written. I also suggest you ask on a PHP forum instead of a CGI/Perl forum.
