Hi,
I am an MBA student/entrepreneur from New Jersey who is looking to hire a web developer to build a dynamic, database driven website that I have in mind. As I've found out, the problem with web entrepreneurs who are not coders themselves is that they have a very hard time (a) finding a good, trustworthy programmer, and, (b) overseeing the development properly.
Therefore, I am seeking for a seasoned professional developer (PHP/mySQL) who would be willing to (1) consult with me on my idea, (2) assist me in finding a developer, then, (3) help oversee the development of the website. I am not looking for this individual to do any programming work themselves! I anticipate stage (1) being 3-4 one-hour sessions, stage (2) being 1-2 one-hour sessions, and stage (3) being 1-3 one hour sessions per week during the duration of the development. I would obviously be paying for your help!
Would anyone out there be interested? I'd appreciate any help I can get. For a pro this should be REALLY REALLY easy work, not much more than reading a few emails per week and being available to talk live from time to time. Again, please no rookies - I am looking for top-notch guidance.
(Btw, I do have some coding experience, and I am pretty familiar with the industry itself, so you wouldn't be working with a complete amateur here)
Thank you very much. (PM welcome)
