I'm trying to set up a page with a virtual coin-toss type application, which I've managed to do (you click the button and a random alert box tells you heads or tails).

What I'd like is to add an input box where the person ebters their name (easy enough) and also have it automatically e-mail me the person's name and their results when they toss the coin in a pre-formatted message - "Bob got heads" sort of thing (not so easy).

I've found a few programs which give them the opportunity to mail their results, but can't find one that will do it automatically. Anyone know if this is possible?

^^^ you need a serverside mail script.

very simple to do using PHP however if you are bent on setting it up on the clientside then i do believe javascript has inputbox's. Combine this with the php mail() function and thats your best option :)
