hey all,

i'm having an absolute nightmare with trying to get multiple scripts to run on my site...

i'm using the 'conveyor belt slideshow' script from www.dynamicdrive.com and it seems to be conflicting with my menu system (it's the HV menu - also from www.dynamicdrive.com)

if anybody can figure a way to make them both work with each other then it'd be a MASSIVE help to me! thanks in advance

the address to look at the page is here (http://www.platinumpromotions.co.uk/pages/welcome.htm)

thanks in advance

This has been covered many times before, as you seem to be aware by mentioning "another multiple script question". Have you searched the previous threads? Or visited www.javascript.kit which has an excellent tutorial.

It is not possible to offer much advice from the information you have given. It is as if you had said "My car won't start". there are a lot of possible reasons.

And please avoid the gruesome phrase "Thanks in advance". That just tells people that you will not be bothering to thank them after they have helped you.

Yep,
its another "onload" problem (wish I got a penny for every one of these)

Try moving the menu script code to after the 'conveyor belt slideshow'. The menu script seems to have code to handle multiple onloads.

i'm sorry, i didn't realise i was using 'gruesome' phrases Phillip M.

i was TRYING to be polite and courteous, but looks like i fell victim to one of those people who uses a forum so much they start to believe they can tell people what to say in some pathetic display of territorial pride.

i KNOW the subject has been covered many times before, and YES i have looked at the past threads. i followed their advice but none worked so EXCUSE ME for posting a question.

the next time i want your opinion on what i do or don't say i'll ask for it.

anyway...

thanks for the tip RoyM, i'll give it a go.
