There is www.freehostia.com but I'm not sure on their file size limits for uploads. They also only give you 250MB of space. We need more details such as how many files, and how much storage you need, including bandwidth needed.

freehostia allows a maximum of 500KB per file(via ftp), in their free plan.

free hostia or x10 hosting (http://x10hosting.com/), x10 even allow asp.net, not bad huh...

a while back I would of said 110mb but..... but disallowed ftpaccess and mysql and are now placing ads and are planning on selling off, shame since they have a decent community

in my opinion, free host is not very reliable, they can delete your files without knowing.

Unless you really don't care about your website and whether or not it is up, I would stay away from free hosts. We went with a $10/year host on a new website we just want to play around with, and we're not even very happy with that host.
You get what you pay for... :(

I tried x10 a month or so ago because their offering seemed really good - in particular it gives you free mySQL and phpmyAdmin.

In a week, I reckon my site was unreachable more than 80% of the time. Gave up on them at that point.

Maybe I was just unlucky...

My top two would be webs.com and wikidot.com.

Webs.com doesn't require a lot of coding experience, but they put a ad on your website. You have to pay to get rid of it.

Wikidot.com is also really good. Even though it is meant to be a wiki, you can limit the people who can edit it to just yourself or a couple of people. As for ads, if you even put one small Google ad on a page you don't have to publicly publish, there is no ads whatsoever.

Even I vote for freehostia but your website will be down for 10% of the day, you may check review of top ten web hosts at website like http://aplis.net/ ,etc.
