Main Page Feedback

I'm looking for feedback for my planned front page design. You can view it here (http://www.lgbtsource.com/sandbox1.htm). I know that some links that are actively working, but look totally messed up (depending on your browser). I will fix them up, but for right now I just am looking for feedback on the planned main page.

Your thoughts?

There's no logo. It looks really odd. Not even a branded title. It just looks like the image hasn't loaded or something

Maybe it would help to first make a design in photoshop or the like before you start coding.

I added a logo to the site. I'm thinking of keeping the page layout and colors the same as it is now, just have to add more info obvoiusly.

I know that it isn't amazing or anything, but I'm just launching it. Once I get some money from ads rolling in, I'll get it professionaly done.

Also, if you are using a browser that isn't IE 7, I'd like to know whether or not it is displaying correctly. I doubt there will be any problems, but nonetheless.

What do you think?
