I haven'tused IIS since recently doing a re-format. For some reason, I can't view any ASP pages. It just tells me that there was a server error, and tells me to view the log.

Can anyone tell me, where is the log file for IIS?

Also, one other page made mention of the user login not being right.

Can anyone recommend a good tutorial for using IIS with XP Pro?

This thing was working before, and now it's not. Darned if I know what to do at this point.

iis logs:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Logfiles\W3SVC1

you can also check out the event viewer also, it is in administrative tools. The first thing I would check is permissions in IIS. Open IIS-expand the Default Web Site icon then right click on the "site" you are looking at. Select properties, DIrectory Security, then check anonymous access. Not sure of any tutorials just a couple of hours of frustration and google.
