www.pageresource.com is ok for HTML. JS is gets a little off. A book might be best

www.webmonkey.com is another one, but www.w3schools.com is probably the best

I'm with Webmarkart; I did a little searching on "HTML tutorial" and got a profusion of tutorials, but a lot still advocate deprecated elements and attributes, haven't heard of the latest standards yet and generally teach a beginner the wrong things.
Webmonkey has some really useful stuff, but not all is up to date; W3Schools probably provides the most useful and recent information.
Oh, and on A List Apart (http://www.alistapart.com/) (which has been dormant - no, not dead! - for quite a while now) you won't find tutorials as such but a lot of worthwhile background information and tips & tricks on using HTML and CSS.

pageresource CSS tells you the values, but does not explain how they work. I asked over 350 posts of questions in another forum trying to learn HTML/CSS :-{

WA,

font elements and table layouts? Well, at least they warn you that it's deprecated and provide CSS layout techniques as well.
No, really: it's a pretty decent site, lots of good stuff, and they devote quite a bit of attention to the newer standards and technologies.
