Can I have your pro / con comments about any web hosting services you have had experience with?
My friend is going to start up an online sportswear business -- which eventually will probably need 1GB+ storage space, some server-side scripting and database (maybe PHP and MySQl), shopping cart, etc.
She is thinking about using Host Gator or possibly GoDaddy. The initial splash will just introduce the brand name/label/wholesale collection so she won't need the server-side tools right away.
I specialize in showcase galleries for artists, illustrators, photographers and the like who only require an "online presence" to show samples of their style and are not conducting an online business. For those "starving artist" clients, I have found DotEasy's $0 hosting (http://www.doteasy.com ) very satisfactory.
