I have no web skill, very little knowledge, but have two ideas in mind, thought they are worth a try. Hope to find some help from here.
Please let me know if the ideas are viable, if so, wish to find partners sharing my dreams.
1. Leave Ad - if you come you will leave. Why not show ads when surfers leave a site?
I have a demo at http://leavead.com, if you go there and try to leave, google will show up. Replace google with any site or ad is the biz model.
It is not popup, will not open a new window, serfers will not hate those leave ads as much as popup ads, because they don't need to close extra window.
I don't know the tech, paid for the Java code, if you try to leave the demo site, google will show up, if you mouse touch the border, comes back to the demo site, kind interesting.
2. Courtesy Ad - hate to place ads on your site but have lots traffic could be moneytized, courtesyad.com offers solution.
Publishers can add a navigation bar called Courtesy Ad for visitors to click for related ads. Instead of force them to see ads on there own web pages.
I think sites like aa.com, geigo.com, lots traffic but no ads. Could be our fronteer publisher. Simply add a navigation bar on their site, we take care the rest work and pay them.
Sites like adsensed sites could be cleaner by using courtesy ad. Hell, maybe they might even invent a new law to against ads on web pages - a law most most serfers will love to have.
I have little money, thought a talented partner could code all functions for cheap, and we put few hundred dollars to try the market. Or contact aa etc sites wisely.
