In gecko browsers the right image hangs out of the bottom of the bounding box. Any ideas what's going on with that?

It's because floated elements are removed from the normal document flow (iow they push content but doesn't extend it's container). Try adding a block element with clear: both; after the image but inside the containing block element.

Lovely content instead of that boring lorem text... ;-)

Thanks. Not sure where I could add an element without changing the internal arrangement - the image is the first thing in the chunk of code, and only right aligned because of the float.

But no worries - I put "min-height:img_height" and it did the trick :)

... it's much better filler text innit ;)
