Hi, I am choosing my site colors. What do you think?

Could be good, what background colour will they go on?

make sure you stick with the same few colors, with exceptions, i almost never go past 3.
remember to contrast also, a light blue like that could be good, but if on say a white background, it would be hard to read.

The white of "rollovers" is almost impossible to read; personally I always stick to blue/purple for links - it's instantly recognisable.
One serious thing though - using red and black in combination is problematic, because people who have protanopic or deuteranopic colour blindess cannot distinguish between them - they see red as black or dark gray. So make sure that the information you convey with colour is also conveyed in another way - such as italics, boldness or size.

Oh well cool .. we didn't know that. That being the case, definitely don't use dark red text - it will be completely or virtually invisible to the colourblind.
