Hi,
I have been thinking up of ideas for sites that could possible make me a some side money. I have a successful GPT ( Get Payed To ) site but isn't currently up. I am selling it because i just didn't want all the responsibility. Anyways, i came up with this huge idea that would be a fun project and hey maybe it will even be a big hit in the future. This might be the big money maker.
Anyone that is familiar with X Box Live would know what im trying to do. I want to create a site that has certain games that are strategic and skill based. I want to set the site up like X Box Live. Here is what i want.
1 Main Lobby:
This will be the place for everyone to chat, talk about the games ... etc..
There will be the huge chat on the left, and on the right a column where everyone will be displayed.
- you will be able to cdouble click their name and a small box will pop up showing them Stats and Ranks. There they will have Achievements ( i will make these up later ) and Honor Levels ( i will also make these up later ).
- There will be a spot where you can add them as your friend.
- Once you have friends , you can view them when you open up your own profile and then see them where you can click thier name there.
- There will be a send message and inbox as well.
Now to the matchmaking. Somewhere in the main Lobby there will be a Drop down menu to list the games. This will be called matchmaking as it is on X Box Live. Once they click on the game whey want, they will be redirected to a new page where they will get put into a game.
They will be put into a pre game chat room where they can talk before the game starts. Everyone will need to push a ready button to begin.
Every game will have a chat next to it with all the players names in the right column. Again they will be able to click on other players names for stats and ranks hile they wait for there turn in that game.
And After the game is done, one last page redirection to a Results page, showing who came in what place. Rankings Increase or Decrease if they reach the right Experience points. If not it will stay the same. There will be a leave button when they are finished looking. Once they click that they will be brought back to the main Lobby.
Experience Points and all that stuff i can think up later.
As you can see i want this to be set up like X Box Live.
I am willing to partnership with someone that wants to be committed to this project. It should be a fun experience, and who knows maybe it will become a huge hit.
I know nothing about coding and what not, im here for the ideas. I will also be the Admin For The site.
Other People I need:
Moderators: To control the chat, make sure everyone follows rules.
Coder: What ever languages you need to know for changing the script of a game to coding a website. Pretty much the whole thing.
