Coding for Selling Websites

:confused: I need some advice from anybody who has experience in setting up a selling website. I have experience in setting up static websites but am being asked to set up selling sites more and more. A quick search on the internet revealed confusing results... It looks like a minefield to one who has very little javascript knowledge, however other sources say "it's just a matter of putting some code into the relevant place"?
Can you advise or recommend a site that explains clearly what is needed!

Im not sure if i understand the question but you seem to be looking for a shopping cart - oscommerce.org is good - its not javascript tho
