Intel have demo'd cpu's operating up to 10GHz, since cpu's these days don't use an ocillator but a phase locked loop to generate the frequency...

This looks great for mobile apps like phones and the like though.

Yeah, it doesn't sound like a desktop computer to me..

And if a desktop computer doesn't have a clock, how can they tell what time it is???
