session for long time

Hi All,

Help me!!!...

I had a problem in maintaining the session for the long time(24 hours). I came across with all the session handler functions.

But still i am not able to succeed......:confused:

Is there anyone to solve this problem....

Session is available until visitor of your web site closes browser. Then session will be deleted. You should use cookies. It's the same, but for longer time.

ya ofcourse session will be available on the browser. The scenario is i want to login into my application and leave the system for long hours.
when i am back i should get continued with the application. instead of the login page again.
