Can someone provide a few websites / books that will get me started on the following areas of CS? Please consider that I don't know how to do anything other than surf the internet and navigate within user interfaces.

How to design databases and write SQL to extract data.
Programming in Visual Basic (.NET), C and Java.
Navigation in NT and UNIX operating systems.

Also, can you comment on how long it will take me to gain competency in the above topics if I dedicate roughly 15 hours per week to learning this?

Thank you,
