form spam test

Is there any way to test a form up against a simulated spambot without just throwing it out on the web and waiting? Is there some sort of simple
test script you can run against your form to check it?

Hm? If you're protecting against the worst of spam--human-entered--then I'm sure finding some genuine spam and copy & pasting it in will do fine. I can supply you with some, should you so wish. I have plenty.
