I'm looking for new things to learn (hence the title ).

I've already learned (x)HTML, XML, CSS, PHP, mySQL, and javascript. I've worked with them for about a year now, and I have a good grasp on each one.

So. I'd like to expand my knowledge into other areas. Any suggestions whatsoever are greatly appreciated. I would like to expand in a new direction, perhaps graphics, maybe some desktop programming languages, I don't know. Anything you can recommend would be great!

Try venturing into the Semantic web -- RDFa, FOAF, XHTML+RDFa Markup .......... and so on.

Yo Binary! Long time no see!
In order to broaden your skillset, you could try ASP.NET (haven't myself). You could also check out the more heavy-duty programming languages; look in the forum we have here for recommendations on where to begin (but the concept part is out of the way, so it should be easier for you.)

I'd try interior decorating and/or piano lessons.

Oh definitely. If you can play piano then you're a valuable asset at any bar.

Try jQuery-- it's a rocking good time and really opens up the versatility of a webpage on the frontend.

Now you've got a lot of choices, why not Flex/AIR/Flash? Big market emerging for it now.
