All I want is a simple XML slideshow where I just press the buttons to see the previous or next image. That's it. No thumbs. No bells and whistles. Can anyone point me to a basic tutorial? I know I've seen them when looking for other things, but of course once I start searching for it they hide from me.

Well, after searching for 3 days, I finally stumbed across a video tutorial that was close enough at http://www.tutvid.com. It was a long video, but worth the time investment.
