Hey, I am trying to make a moonlight for my aquarium with using 2 blue LED's.
I am using AC to DC (110V to 9.5V) phone charger to light my LED's. I assuming that blue LED's about 3.5V - 3.8V. Should be enough power... I used 150n resistor and it's working except LED's are almost blinking.. Kind of shaky light.
I know resistor is not perfect, but I am trying to find out what could cause this shaky blinking? Crappy Power Supply? Wrong resistor? Bad connection?

Hope somebody can help me find the problem.. Thanks in advance.

How much current can the LEDs handle? You might need to use a bigger resistor.

Current = 20mA
Voltage = 3.0V to 3.2V

I was little bet off, but I've found info on my led's now ^^^.

I should have something around 155ohm. I've used 5V 150ohm.
I also tried 12V 430ohm which gave same result as 150ohm. Another one I've tied is 91ohn which light it up only for a sec.
Might that be a power supply problem?

Well you'd want to use a resistance that gives you less than 20mA. So both of those other configurations you tried were still too much.

So input voltage / resistance < 20 x 10^-3.

It could also be a power supply issue or the LEDs.
