Hi, I developed a website but I am a coder and not a web designer.

The site looks ok - but want it to look much better!

I don't want to hire an expensive designer. And there are many simple sites that look cool and neat without fancy web design.

What are some simple improvements I could make? Please help!

Adding the following may make the text more readable

#Content p {/*template.css (line 342)*/
font-size:12px;
line-height:1.5;
margin:15px;
text-align:justify;
}

Maybe change the font on the address, header, footer and the boxadstop so it isn't Times New Roman, maybe to Arial like your text or Trebuchet like the menu - that'll help the coherency of the page.

Another suggestion - remove your "Introduction to.." header - I think it's unnecessary - it's pretty obvious what the website is about. For the other h2 heading, maybe reove the underline for your h2, it sort of looks a bit like a link at the moment. If you highlight that text with a graphic instead that might make it look a bit more "designed".

I'd lose the circular image as well because it doesn't say vending machine to me and it's not as sharp as your vending machine images.

Hope these are useful....
