Hi,

This is my current site here:

How to weld (http://www.learn-how-to-weld.com)
and the other page is
Mig Welding is using a wire feed welder (http://www.learn-how-to-weld.com/mig-welding.html)

They are both XHTML 1.0 Strict compliant from W3C.

But then I found out about the CSS checker, and man there is a few errors.

So, I'm either after a new template that is fast, simple, css and seo ready to use or can someone show me how to fix up this template.

Cheers,
Peter

For a start, as you may probably know CSS doesn't effect SEO unless your display:none; on loads of content in which case Google may blacklist you for trying to cheat.

just remember make it easier for the user to use:

title tags on all links, alt tags on all images, proper META information which relates to the content of the page, not the content of the website.

use h1,h2,h3 tags etc where necessary, and never use more than 1 h1 tag.

Other aspects you should take into consideration are media to text ratios (i.e. higher media content generally ranks your page lower).

Interlinking, make sure everything is as linked in to each other as possible (without having a million menus)

sitemap.xml - compulsory, and it almost ensures Google checks ALL your pages you want it to as well as knowing when to check your pages again!

html viewable sitemaps are believed to help Google get a good idea of structure within your website, though it isn't particularly well proven.

There ARE more for SEO but those are kind of the main ones to keep in mind (I'm sure someone will come and tell you if any of thats wrong, or if I missed something important.)

As for the CSS, the zoom command will never validate, its deprecated. The other issues are quite simple validation errors tbh.

both pages are transitional not strict and both have html errors:

http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.learn-how-to-weld.com%2F
http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.learn-how-to-weld.com%2Fmig-welding.html

have no sense to validate against css until you fix html.

this could help for seo:
