How would you stop IE passing mouse.wheel events to a flash app?

Is this possible?

I'm curious. Wouldn't that be the same as removing your event listener when you no longer want to perform any action? Or is it that you want to do this only in IE?

I might need a little more explaination, but here is something.

mouseWheelEnabled is a property that controls if the wheel will affect text boxes.
