Secpay testing sorrow

Hiya,

I've rung Secpay 3 times, emailed twice and still have no response from them so I really hope someone here can help me with this!

I am trying to test my secpay account using test_status=true and the fake credit card numbers given in the instruction manuel but the website will not process the request.

I get the following error message:
Transaction not authorised. Failure message text available to merchant

The real mystery is that this is an upgrade to an existing website which uses secpay. This existing basket works brilliantly and I had no problems testing it.

The website deals with dvd sales and downloads. The only alterations to the basket between the site which worked and this one which does not, is that users can now buy a DVD and downloads. Previously, they could only buy downloads.

But the code used by secpay is identical so I am at a complete loss.

Secpay finally got back to me, if anyone else is having this problem then here's the solution...

Visa changed the 3-digit cv2 checking system. When in test mode, add the following line of code and the test works!

<input type="hidden" name="default_cv2avs" value="ALL MATCH" />
