hi all.
i'm not sure if ive missed something, but this is really frustrating me haha.
my website looks great in firefox, but when viewing in internet explorer, a lot of the images aren't aligning properly. have a look at the header on lifeloveandlogos.com for an example. and another example at lifeloveandlogos.com/about.php

the image just starts repeating itself, or at least that's what it looks like to me.

any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

tables are not meant for making layouts, instead for displaying tabular data. Check http://www.hotdesign.com/seybold/ to see why tables for layout is very bad.

really, ie interprets css codes differently than with other browsers. that's why there are so-called 'css hacks for ie'. you can google that one out to know more. when i make webpages, i do my css layout for firefox and then do some extra css codes for the benefit of ie browsers. css codes to correct display problems of ie are then kept or saved in a different css file. then, add the following codes in the html to ensure that only ie browsers can read and implement these corrective layout commands.

(code):

<head>

<!--[if IE]>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="for-ie-browser.css" />
<![endif]-->

</head>

(code)
