What do you mean by a "solid" exe?

It's means there is only single .exe file, which itself include all used DLLs, so there is no file except this .exe. App is runable by simply click on this .exe (not installation, but run) and there is no runtime extractions during run-time (in the matter of security)

There's a tool called ILMerge which does this I believe. I'm not quite sure why you would want to do this but have a look..

App uses some third-party DLLs, which should be protected from any outside access. However, the app should have full access to this DLLs. So DLLs should be used without writing it on hard disc(including extracting DLLs to TEMP directory during runtime).

Actually yesterday I found BoxedApp Packer. It's doing exectly what is needed:creating an app, which uses DLLs directly from memory buffer without extracting it to temp directory.
But maybe ILMerge have some benefits?.. I'll check :)
