External stylesheets not working in IE6!

I just installed IE6 and now none of the classes I defined for links in external style sheet work! But if I copy the classes and paste it inline in the pages it works. What could be the problem?

Post the source, or link it, and we might be able to tell.

Well this is going to be funny. I was so confused as to why the style sheet didn't work. Then I started repositioning the class definitions in the file and suddenly some of the links started working. Then I found that there was a stray double quote in a class definition :D which was responsible for the style sheet not working. I don't know if I should appreciate ie6 for being more stringent on the syntax.

I certainly think you should be thankful. ie6 is quirky enough as it is - ie5 was awful.

Now, when ie7 is released, that's when you'll really have to check your syntax - I don't think MS will let Mozilla, Opera and Apple be quite as much ahead as it they currently are.
