How to send a email with a attachment

i have a problem now, even though i can send a mail using the "mailto:" function, but i somehow could not find any javascript that allow the user to attach a file to the email..

so do anyone of u have the codes or source of this attachment function??

I don't think that is possible. Probably a good thing to, just imagine if you clicked a mailto: link and someone attached some files that you didn't want them to have?

Yup, if javascript is your only tool, you should give up, cuz that ain't gonna happen. :D
