View Full Version : Css Drop Down menu overlapping problem

05-27-2009, 01:21 AM

I have drop down buttons at the top of the site that were created in Fireworks for menu navigation and the problem is when I tried to enter the third one it is overlapping the one next to it and so the menu is moving to the far left?

I have turned off prevent overlaps and yet it still does it

any ideas?

It would be very hard to track the issue from that <table> soup. Don't you know why table are very bad for layout? Adopt some CSS based designs, check an example at http://bonrouge.com/3c-hf-fluid-lc.php

I realise it would be better for design and modernisation to be using css but... I dont have the time at the moment, I need to get the site up and running then I will look at redesigning using css - backwards i know but that is how I am going to have to do it for now.

have you any ideas on why it is relocating the menu when they overlap when I have diasabled prevent overlapping layers?

Has anyone else got any ideas on why I cant create another dropdown near the news one even though prevent overlapping layers is disabled?
