Pass data from form to confirmation page using Javascript

Does anyone have a good example of how to post form data onto a new confirmation page using javascript.

Are you just asking "how do I emulate <form method=post> in JavaScript code"??

And if so, do you mean that you want to avoid the obvious trick of actually *using* a <form> with all hidden elements and then just invoking its submit() method?
